How do I send peptides for testing from Switzerland?
The short answer
Switzerland is outside the EU customs union, so a sample crosses customs on the way to Spain. Use FedEx, UPS or DHL Express with a pro-forma invoice describing the contents accurately as a research chemical sample for laboratory analysis with nominal value. Order first to receive the address, the task reference and the declaration wording. Typical transit is two to four working days plus clearance.
In detail
Customs handling, not the analysis, is the main source of delay for Swiss senders. An express carrier with integrated brokerage clears far faster than postal channels, and a declaration that matches the contents avoids the holds that cost days.
Do not under-declare or describe the shipment as something it is not: a mismatched description creates a customs problem that delays the analysis and helps nobody. Nominal value, accurate description, one vial, no cold packs.
The full instructions, including the exact wording we recommend for the declaration, come with the order confirmation.
