A blind GLP-1 panel tests a vial against several GLP-1 analogues at once without declaring which one it should contain, so the laboratory identifies what is actually present rather than confirming what the label says. The value of blinding is that it removes the expectation. A targeted test asks whether the declared peptide is present at the declared amount; a blind panel asks what is in the vial at all, across a defined set of candidates.
It is most worth ordering on a first purchase from an unknown supplier, or when a price looks inconsistent with the analogue claimed.
For a declared peptide from a known lot, a standard targeted test plus mass-spectrometry confirmation usually answers the same question for less.
