How do I blind-test a vendor?
The short answer
Order as an ordinary customer without mentioning testing, then send the vial to a laboratory yourself under a neutral sample name. The point is that the vendor cannot select which vial you receive. A vendor-arranged test tells you about a sample the vendor chose; a blind purchase tells you about what customers actually get.

Three details do most of the work. Buy through the normal storefront rather than a direct arrangement. Do not announce that the material is going for analysis. And label the sample to the laboratory neutrally, so no one downstream knows whose product it is.
Repeat purchases across different lots are more informative than a single test, because consistency between batches is the property that actually predicts what you will receive next time.
This is also why mandatory publication matters: blind results only inform the wider market if they are published whatever they say.
